Megan Vanstone
As Scientific Director for Healthy Future Sask and Director of Research Development & Strategy for the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (SCA), Megan’s role is to set the project up for success. She oversees the project team, ensures that the necessary funding and resources are in place, represents HFS on the CanPath Leadership Team, and maintains alignment between the work of HFS and the research vision for the SCA.

Emiliana Bomfim
As Provincial Manager of the program, Emiliana is committed to advancing health knowledge about cancer and chronic disease. In her role she is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of Healthy Future Sask.

Austin Hammond
In his role as Biobank Specialist, Austin is responsible for all work involving biosample collection, processing and storage. Austin ensures the quality of biosamples and the accuracy of their records by designing workflows, standardizing operational procedures and monitoring quality.

Maya Vu
Maya Vu is a Program and Policy Consultant for Healthy Future Sask. Maya ensures the successful operation of HFS by overseeing ethics and regulatory compliance, optimizing project workflows, creating standard operating procedures, conducting process evaluations, and managing data quality.

Joy Yaneza
An experienced laboratory technologist, Joy Yaneza serves as a technical assistant for Healthy Future Sask. She is responsible for collecting physical measurements and biological samples, and biological sample processing. Joy is committed to providing a positive and comfortable experience for study participants.

Sheena Nkachukwu
Sheena is a Communications Consultant with the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. She is responsible for the strategic communications, content review, creation and promotion of HFS. Her knowledge and experience allow her to blend creativity and strategy into every project.

Jodi Langridge
Jodi is the Administrative Assistant for the Healthy Future Sask. She ensures the smooth operations of daily activities. Jodi is the first point of contact for participants and is always happy to answer questions and provide support.

Funmi Abe
As Business Analyst for Healthy Future Sask, Funmi ensures that technical systems and processes align with research objectives and participant needs. She supports the development of intuitive, efficient tools that foster a seamless experience for all stakeholders.

Carla Woitas
Carla is a Research Associate with Healthy Future Sask. She supports the launch of the Healthy Eating and Supportive Environments (HEAL) Study, a sub-study of Healthy Future Sask. She also contributes to clinic operations in Regina, helping ensure a smooth experience for participants.
